Coatings are essential for tactical military weapons, missiles and vehicles. All coating service providers cannot provide military coatings as these coatings must always live up to strict specification standards. We at Van Westrum have the capability to provide military coatings that meet most of the MIL Spec standards.

We use both powder and liquid coatings and all coating applications used are processed at our plant. We use a wide range of techniques to apply liquid coatings, which include:
  • Conventional spray
  • HPLV spray
  • Electrostatic spray
  • Dip, and
  • Dip-spin techniques
We also specialize in a diverse range of techniques to apply powder coatings, which include:
  • Electrostatic spray
  • Fusion bonded spray, and
  • Fluid bed techniques
Van Westrum Corporation will work with customers from the design and proto-types to production run stages. We are limited to a part weighing 5000 lbs and measuring less than 8' x 8' x 15' long.
